Eloise (Kile) Morris, age 83, a lifetime resident of Greenwood Township, died suddenly on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home. For over 55 years, she had lived on the family farm in Greenwood Township.
Eloise was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1931 in Greenwood Township, a daughter of the late Willard and H. Lucille (Shaffer) Kile. She completed her education upon graduation from the Millville High School in 1948.
On March 24, 1951, Eloise married her beloved husband of over 62 years, Herman E. Morris. Herman passed on May 2, 2013. Eloise was proud to be a wife, mother, and housewife. She assisted her husband in the family farming operation while her health allowed. Additionally, Eloise was a bus driver for the Millville School District for 30 years.
Eloise was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Greenwood Twp. where she played the piano for church services for 45 years.
Survivors include a daughter: Paula M. Weatherill and husband, Dale, of Greenwood Township; a son: Keith H. Morris and wife, Linda, also of Greenwood Township; four grandchildren: Chad Weatherill, Crystal Facey, Nathanael Morris and Melanie Morris and three great-granddaughters; Madeline and Caitlyn Weatherill and Olivia Facey; and also two brothers, Allen Kile and wife, Doris, of Orangeville and Arden Kile and wife, Bernette, of Spring Grove, PA.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening, April 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 W. Main at Railroad Street in Millville. Friends and family will also be received on Thursday morning, April 2 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Millville.
Funeral services will be begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1314 State Route 254, Millville with Rev. Timothy M. Valiente, officiating. Eloise will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Lemon Cemetery, Greenwood Township.
