Elizabeth D. (Shultz) Fronk , age 90, of Catawissa, died on Friday, July 22, 2016, a patient of the Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center in Bloomsburg where she was a resident for three years.
Elizabeth was born on Thursday, June 24, 1926 in Catawissa, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Helwig) Shultz. Throughout her younger years, Elizabeth attended the Catawissa area schools.
For over 33 years, Elizabeth was employed by Bloomsburg Hospital in the Housekeeping Department until her retirement in 2010. Elizabeth was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Numidia, and the Roaring Creek Valley Grange, . Elizabeth enjoyed spending her time baking, cooking, competing seek a word books and especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded by her husband, Frederick Fronk, Jr. on March 19, 1978; a daughter, Donna K. Fronk; two sons: Randy L. Fronk and Rick C. Fronk and two sisters: Elenora Crawford and Delores Nuss.
Survivors include four sons: Donald F. Fronk and wife, Ethel, of Catawissa, Scott W. Fronk and wife, Gail, of Catawissa, Dale E. Fronk and wife, Jean, of Greenville, SC and Robert T. Fronk and wife, Dorothy, of Catawissa, PA, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; a brother, William Shultz and wife, Janet, of Harrisburg, PA, and two sisters: Margaret Koons and husband, Leonard, of Harrisburg and Jean Longenberger of Catawissa, PA.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will follow on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. in with her pastor, Rev. Charles Swank, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Fronk family.
