Elizabeth "Jane" Francis, age 79, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Jane was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 20 years.
Jane was born on Thursday, April 25, 1946 in Wellsboro, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth "Betty" (Elliott) Campbell. She graduated from the Elkland High School in 1965. For many years, Jane was employed by Guthrie Medical as an patient service specialist. Jane was a member of Trinity UMC, Espy and was also a member of the Eastern Star. More than anything, Jane loved spending her time with her family, and with her dog, Precious.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Elwin Smith.
She is survived by a host of loving family and friends, including her children, grandchildren, and extended family.
Survivors include her husband; Marvin Francis, her sons; Douglas Seamans and wife Teresa, Jeff Seamans and wife Pat, and Craig Seamans and wife Amy, a sister; Florence Ann Sereno and husband Jon, seven grandchildren; Eric Seamans and wife Rachael, Jessica Shaffer and husband Nicholas, Elizabeth Seamans, Chelsey Cooper and husband Alex, Irena Raia and her husband Peter, Lily Horvatt, ten great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Emily, Lillian, Harper, Helena, Leo, Graham, Lyla, Virginia, and Jack, her beloved extended family; Craig Stewart and wife Mandy, and Robbin Kersey and husband David, as well as several more extended grandchildren and great grandchildren; Wyatt, Jesse, Madeline, Sydney, Davis, Brynn, Coleson.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 7 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 at The Bridge, 145 Ridge St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Saturday February 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm at The Bridge with Pastor Kelly Kocher-Ross, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth street is honored to be serving Elizabeth's family.
