Eli Lynn Campbell, age 70, of 31 Knob Mountain Road, Berwick, died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at his home. He was born Saturday, August 12, 1939 in Tuckerton, PA a son of the late Harry and Sarah Ernest Campbell.
Mr. Campbell graduated in 1957 from the Muhlenburg Twp. High School. Following graduation he served with the United States Marine Corps during the Cuban Missile Crisis. On August 5, 1961 he married Eileen Grim who survives.
Eli was last employed by PP&L as a supervisor at the Bell Bend Facility. He was a member of Washington Lodge #265 F&AM and the Caldwell Consistory, both of Bloomsburg.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 49 years is a daughter: Jodie Roth and husband Dennis of Nescopeck and a son: Timothy Campbell of Warrensburg, NY; four grandchildren: Dustin Yoder, Seth Yoder, Jeremiah Campbell and Kristi Campbell; four great-grandchildren and one brother: Dr. Ernest Campbell and wife, Marge, of Berwick.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the family home. The Allen Funeral Home 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg is assisting the Campbell family.
