Elaine H. Morgan, age 91, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at her Montour Township home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Geisinger Hospice. Elaine was a resident of her home for over 54 years.

She was born on Monday, June 8, 1931 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Edward and Edna (Andy) Hartzell, Sr. Elaine graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1949. On May 29, 1965, Elaine married her loving husband, Rodney D. Morgan. For over 33 years, Elaine was employed by Bell Telephone as a telephone operator until her retirement. After her retirement, she worked part-time at The Medicine Shoppe, Bloomsburg for over 23 years. She was a member of the former Bell Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and vacationing with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved her great grandchildren which she doted on. She enjoyed going to her great-granddaughters sporting events, listening to music and watching Lawrence Welk. She also enjoyed holidays when the family was all together.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was also preceded in death by a stepson, Timothy M. Morgan and a brother, Edward Hartzell, Jr.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Rodney D. Morgan, a daughter; Karen L. Poust and husband Larry of Bloomsburg, two grandchildren; Jessica Elaine George and husband Jared of Bloomsburg, Chris L. Poust and wife Renea of Orangeville, a step-granddaughter; Nicole Morgan of Philadelphia, four great-grandchildren; Kennedy Marie George, Kayla Joyce Poust, Taylor Ann Poust and Liam Robert George.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, pastor of Catawissa Christian Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Morgan family.
