Eileen K. (Grim) Campbell, age 71, of Briar Creek Twp., died on Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2015 a patient in the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital.
Eileen was born on Saturday, February 5, 1944 a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Rickenbach) Grim. She was a 1961 graduate of the Brandywine Heights High School of Topton PA. On August 5, 1961 Eileen married her late husband, Eli Lynn Campbell. After 49 years of marriage, Eli died August 5, 2010.
For most of her working life Eileen was employed as Office Manager of Sunshine Laundry of Bloomsburg and Unitog Uniform Service of Hazleton. She retired in 2000. Following retirement she worked for Farmer Moofy's Farm Stands.
In addition to spending time with her family, Eileen was a avid reader, she enjoyed shopping and couponing, as well as sewing, cooking, baking, entertaining, canning produce and flower gardening.
Survivors include a daughter: Jodie Roth and husband, Dennis, of Nescopeck; a son: Timothy Campbell of Warrensburg NY; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother: Stewart Grim and wife, Barbara, of The Villages FL.
At the request of the family, all funeral services will be held privately. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Campbell family.
