Obituary
Edward G. Rakos, age 94, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020, a resident of the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown.
Edward was born on Monday, April 5, 1926 in Berwick, a son of the late Steven and Magaret (Szabo) Rakos. Edward married his loving wife, the former Helen E. Whitmire who preceded him in death on September 1, 2013.
Survivors include his two sons, Brooks E. Rakos of Lititz, Kirk Rakos and wife Kathy Rakos of Lititz, three grandchildren; Molly wife of Ryan Mosher of Ephrata, Tim Rakos and wife Kara of Mt. Joy, Annie Rakos of Lititz and two great grandsons; Gavin and Milo Rakos of Mt. Joy.
A private graveside service was held on on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Briar Creek Union Cemetery with Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Rakos family.
