Edith A. Heimbach, age 92, of 287 East 7th St, Bloomsburg, died Thursday, August 20, 2009 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Edith was a resident of her 7th St. home for 64 years. Mrs. Heimbach was born, May 31, 1917, in Riverside, a daughter of Christopher and Martha Gertrude (Cain) Lynn. She attended the Danville schools. She was a 70 year member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Bloomsburg. For over 40 years she was employed by Milco Ind. as a sewer, folder and inspector. She retired in 1990.Survivors include two daughters: Judy Ryan of Bloomsburg and Carol Lang, wife of Clair "Chip", of Carmel IN; one son: Glenn A. Heimbach, Jr. of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two sisters: Esther Cotner of Washingtonville and Leona Bower of Milton. She was preceded in death by eleven siblings.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, 260 East 7th St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor Rev. Stephen D. Englehardt, officiating. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A private burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville.
