Obituary
Duane Harry Martz, age 67, of Bear Creek Township, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at him home where he resided for twenty years.
He was born on Tuesday, August 9, 1955 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Wayne E. and Phyllis T. (Hess) Martz. He graduated from the Columbia Montour Vo Tech School in 1974. He was employed as a roofer by Pinnacle Roofing until his retirement in 2018. He was a member of the Bradford County Beagle Club and The Polish American Citizens Club. Duane enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, taking care of animals, gardening, card games and playing pitch.
Survivors include his two children; Brian D. Martz of Johnson County, GA, and Renee Cooper and husband Philip of Candler, NC; five grandchildren, two siblings, a sister Sharon Price of Bloomsburg, a brother, Scott K. Martz and wife Corrine of Bloomsburg, and a special friend, Jean M. Scott of Pittston.
Private Services will be at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Martz family.
