Duane A. Gregory, age 64, a life-long resident of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021, at his son's home in Nescopeck and under the care of Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick. Duane was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 22 years.

He was born on Wednesday, July 17, 1957 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Charles B. and Anne L. (Metzinger) Gregory. Throughout his younger years, Duane attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1976. Duane expanded his education by attending Bloomsburg University. For over 32 years, he was employed by Federal Express as a courier until his retirement in 2018. Duane attended St. Columba Catholic Church in Bloomsburg. He was a member of the Headquarters Company 2nd Battalion 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment (Reenacted). Duane enjoyed spending his time researching, sharing and teaching about World War II history, reenacting with the 506th throughout the east coast, and most of all spending time with all of his family.

Survivors include his three beloved children: a son, Colby J. Gregory and wife Olivia of Nescopeck, a daughter, Cameron M. Gregory of Bloomsburg, a daughter, Morgan Gregory of West Pittston, a brother, Charles B. Gregory, III and wife Gail of Danville, and a granddaughter, Thea R. Gregory of Nescopeck.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday morning, September 4, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth streets, Bloomsburg.
