Doyle M. Creasy, Jr., age 81, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Doyle was a resident of his home in Scott Twp. for over 53 years.
He was born on Wednesday, June 30, 1937 in Lightstreet, a son of the late Doyle M, Sr., and Helen (Farrell) Creasy. Throughout his younger years, Doyle attended the Scott Township area schools, and later graduated from the former Scott High School in 1955. On May 5, 1979 Doyle married his loving wife, the former Gail Mausteller, who preceded him in death on June 22, 2013.
Doyle was employed by PPL as a Lineman for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Bloomsburg Elks, Life Member of the American Hunting Club, Ducks Unlimited and was an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents and wife, Doyle was also preceded by a sister, Elizabeth Lupini.
Survivors include his two children, a son: Russell Creasy of Bloomsburg and a daughter: Cynthia Cain and her husband Pete Watson of Centennial, CO; two grandsons, Travis Cain and Ryan Cain; a sister, Genevieve Kazar of Akron, OH and a brother: Douglas Creasy and wife Joanie of Lightstreet.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Jennifer Parks Snyder, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Lightstreet Highland Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Creasy family.
