Douglas E. Fisk, age 58, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at his Scott Township home where he lived for the past 12 years.
He was born on Thursday, September 23, 1965 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Frank and Mary M. (Moyer) Fisk. He graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1984. He attended James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Geology. For over 15 years, Doug owned the United Environmental Services as a geologist until he sold the business. Doug was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. He was a member of Arnold's Golf Course, Mifflinville and Berwick Country Club. He enjoyed coaching his daughter in youth softball and basketball. He played baseball for Central Columbia High School and for the American Legion League. Doug was a baseball fan and enjoyed golfing and landscaping in his yard.
In addition to his parents, Doug was also preceded in death by a sister, Julie A. Fisk.
Survivors include his two beloved children; a daughter, Annika M. Fisk and her partner Samuel A. McQuillen of Oxford, UK, a son; Samuel F. Fisk of Conyngham, and Doug's former wife, Sandra T. Fisk of Conyngham.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Fisk family.
