Donna E. Pickard, age 57, of Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died on Monday, September 5, 2011 a resident of Balanced Care at Bloomsburg. She resided in Bloomsburg for the past two years and was a former resident of Levittown, PA.
Donna was born on Sunday, November 29, 1953 in Hazleton, a daughter of Thelma (Kemler) Singley of Ellenton, Florida and also the late Ellis Singley. Throughout her earlier years, she attended the St. Columba Elementary School and also was a member of the 1971 Graduating Class of the Bloomsburg High School. Following high school, she graduated from the Wilkes-Barre Business School in 1973. During her working career, she was employed as an Executive Assistant for Columbia Liteway in Levittown, PA. She was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Parish in Bloomsburg.
In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her beloved husband of over 30 years, Craig I. Pickard; a son: Paul J. Pickard and wife, Amanda, of Levittown, PA; a grandson: Chase Pickard; and three brothers: Edward Singley and wife, Elaine, of Levittown, PA; Robert Singley and wife, Nancy, of Ellenton, FL; and Ronald Singley and wife, Crystal, of Bloomsburg;
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. from the St. Columba Catholic Church, Third and Iron Street, Bloomsburg, with Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence, as celebrant. There will be no public calling hours. Graveside Services will be held in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The Pickard family is being assisted by the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market Street in Bloomsburg.
