Donna M. Christopher, age 75, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Sunday evening, January 12, 2020, a patient of the The Gardens at Orangeville.

She was born on Wednesday, February 23, 1944 in Washington, D.C., a daughter of the late Robert K. and Marie E. (Hidlay) Christopher. At the age of three she moved to Espy where she spent the next 69 years in the same home. In 2016 she moved to The Gardens at Orangeville, where she was loved and well cared for by many wonderful staff, for which her family is truly grateful. Donna graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1963 where she was voted Most Athletic in her class. Donna held several jobs, working at The Tenny Town Motel, Cains Clothing Factory in Espy and her most important one, caring for her parents until their passing. In her younger years she enjoyed golfing with her uncles and cousins, riding motorcycles, doing yard work and shoveling snow. She enjoyed the simple things in life.

Donna will be missed by the aunts she played cards with on a weekly basis; Lowie, Jolynn and Jackie Hidlay, many cousins and their families and her special puppy pal, Penny.

Graveside services will begin on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Creveling Cemetery, Almedia. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Christopher family.
