Donna L. Carper, age 80, of Pittston formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Donna was born on Sunday, June 7, 1942 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Harry and Stella (Long) Bogart. She attended Bloomsburg School District. She was a homemaker for all of her life. On April 9, 1960, Donna married her loving husband, Lester J. Carper formerly of Bloomsburg. Donna enjoyed making ceramics, cooking, baking, loved to travel, her grandkids, dancing and music at Washingtonville Fire Hall, and carnivals especially the Bloomsburg Fair.

In addition to her parents, Donna was also preceded in death by a sister, Diane Fox.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 62 years, Lester J. Carper, three children; Douglas Carper of Zion Grove, Bryan Carper and wife Mary of Berwick and Lori Bittenbender and husband Carl of Pittston; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and a brother; Donald Fox and wife Bonnie of Danville.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Carper family.
