Donald L. Stewart, age 59, of Orangeville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at his residence. Donald was a resident of his home in Fishingcreek Twp. for over 30 years.
He was born on Saturday, May 16, 1959 in Danville, a son of Barbara M. (Bickhart) Robbins of Bloomsburg and the late Donald E. Stewart who passed on February 7, 2018. Throughout his younger years, Donald attended and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School Class of 1977. For over 35 years, he was employed by the former Magee Carpet Company in Bloomsburg until his retirement in 2012. Donald enjoyed spending his time as an avid sports fan cheering on his favorite team the Miami Dolphins, an avid firearms collector, and enjoyed watching sprint car racing and riding 4 wheelers.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara M. Robbins and husband, Dhalas, of Bloomsburg; a brother, Dave H. Stewart and wife, Chris, also of Bloomsburg; and a nephew, David R. Stewart.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 12th from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will also begin on Monday, November 12th 1 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. in Bloomsburg with Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Stewart family.
