Donald J. Lewellyn, age 86, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, a resident of the Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville. Donald was a resident of his home in Mt. Pleasant Twp. for over 35 years.

Donald was born on Sunday, April 10, 1938, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Floyd and Gertrude (Shetler) Lewellyn. He attended the Bloomsburg High School. On August 2, 1958, Donald married his loving wife, Eileen. For over 10 years, he was employed by Magee Carpet Co. as an electrician until his retirement in 1996. His previous employment included Girton's Manufacturing, Kawneer, and Don's TV Service. Donald was a member of the Bloomsburg Christian Church. He enjoyed his time flying RC planes, hunting, fishing, cooking, antique cars, hit and miss engines and his parrot, Harriet and his cat, Baby.

In addition to his parents, Donald was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Lewellyn and two great grandchildren: Amber and Charlie Amick.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Eileen Lewellyn of Danville; three children: Joyce A. Amick of Nescopeck, Cathy Rader of Naples, FL, James Lewellyn and wife Julie of Bloomsburg; eight grandchildren: Jared Lewellyn of Bloomsburg, Luke A. Amick and wife Schuyler of Bloomsburg, Noah A. Amick and wife Sarah of Stillwater, Elias A. Amick of Los Angeles, CA, Mikayla Lebo and husband Joshua of Selingsgrove, Sara A. Amick of Bloomsburg, Joshua Rader of McKinney, TX, Jonah Rader of Austin, TX; and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family at Canby Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Lewellyn family.
