Dolores B. Neyhard, age 81, of 361 West Fifth St. Bloomsburg, died Monday, August 2, in Balanced Care of Bloomsburg where she was admitted a week earlier. Dolores was born Sunday, May 26, 1929 in Shenandoah a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Radziak Romowicz.

Dolores graduated from Shenandoah Catholic High School in 1946 and in 1949 became a Registered Nurse upon graduating from the Ashland State Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed in the medical office of Drs. David and Blairann Revak for many years and last was employed part time as a Nursing Supervisor at The Bloomsburg Hospital.

She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Parish where she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters. Additionally, she was a member of the Retired Nurses Association. Dolores particularly enjoyed her grandchildren's birthday parties, retired nurses monthly luncheons, trips to Atlantic City and card club.

Preceding her in death on October 6, 2001 was her husband of 52 years, Carl L. Neyhard. She was also preceded by a brother John "Jackie" Romavage

Survivors include three daughters: Patricia Zeisloft and husband, Gerald, of Jerseytown, Mary Neyhard of Fairfax VA and Barbara A. Tyson of Cornelius NC; two sons: Carl J. Neyhard of Danville and John R. Neyhard and wife, Jane, of Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A brother: Joseph Romavage of Shenandoah also survives.

Friends will be received Friday, August 6, at Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, Third & Iron Sts. with her pastor, Rev. Paul R. Fisher, officiating. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery. Family will provide flowers; contributions in Dolores' memory are suggested to Columbia Montour Home Hospice 435 Glenn Ave., Suite 200, Bloomsburg.
