Dolores "Hatch" G. Miller, age 87, formerly of Lighstreet , died on Sunday, January 17, 2016, a patient of Brookdale Assisted Living in Scott Township where she had resided since 2011. Dolores was a resident of her home in Lightstreet for over 55 years.
Dolores was born on Friday, June 1, 1928 in Conyngham, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Doyle and Violet (Knorr) Garrison.
On April 25, 1951 Dolores married her loving Guy C. Miller of Lightstreet who died June 19, 1992.
She was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Carl and companion, Greg Neff, a son, Randy Miller and wife, Renae, both of Bloomsburg, PA.; five grandchildren: Kimberly O'Brien, Jackie Covert, Stephen Miller, Michael Carl, Megan Miller; five great grandchildren; a sister: Audrey Stair of Nescopeck and a brother: Ronald Garrison of Berwick.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dolores was preceded in death by five siblings: Elwood Garrison, Glenmore Garrison,


Donald Garrison, Betty Shultz, Shirley Thomas.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening, January 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Thursday morning, January 21, 11 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with her pastor, Rev. Jennifer Parks Snyder, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Lightstreet Highland Cemetery.
