Derek L. Rudkin, age 20, of Bloomsburg, passed away, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born on Thursday, April 11, 2002 in Carmel, NY, a son of Kenneth J. Mrozowski and Christine A. Cameron. Throughout his younger years, Derek attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School in 2020 where he enjoyed wrestling for three years. For over three years, Derek was employed by Keystone Landfill Inc., Dunmore as a welder. He was a member of the Illusion Car Club. He enjoyed working on his Ford Powerstroke truck, his multiple cars and hanging out with his friends and family. He was a grounds keeper at a local golf club and enjoyed working at Joe's Donut Stand at the Bloomsburg Fair. Derek's hobbies included using his chain saw, riding multiple dirt bikes, quads, go-karts and competing with his dad. Derek always held a special place in his heart for his mom, and he dearly loved being a big brother to his younger sister, Kenzie.

Survivors include his beloved parents Kenneth J. Mrozowski and Christine A. Cameron, and his little sister, Kenzie A. Mrozowski, all of Bloomsburg, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and his numerous friends.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 114 Beaver Valley Road, Bloomsburg with Rev. Christine Kirchner, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Harger's Lutheran Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving Derek's family.
