Obituary
Dawn E. Stephens, age 71, of Danville and formerly of Orangeville, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Danville.
She was born on Friday, December 19, 1947 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Elmes) Rarig. Dawn graduated from the Southern Columbia High School in 1966. For many years, Dawn was employed by the former Bernardi Foods, Bloomsburg, and was a member of the Kulp United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dawn was also preceded in death by her two husbands, David L. Semiclose in 1986 and John C. Stephens in 2011.
Survivors include her three children, Joseph D. Semiclose and wife Pam of Danville, Heidi J. Semiclose of Ocean City, MD, Gretchen L. Reichart of Ocean City, MD, three stepsons, John Stephens and wife Ann of Bloomsburg, Jamie Stephens and wife Katie of Presque Isle, ME, Jeff Stephens and wife Judy of Waverly, NY, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel Rarig and wife Sandra, Dale Rarig and a sister, Darla Rarig all of Catawissa.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Stephens family.
