Obituary
Dawn E. Hornberger, age 89, formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, a patient of the Grandview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Danville.
She was born on Monday, May 30, 1932 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Otis S. and Ruth E. (Fry) Morgan. Dawn graduated from the Bloomsburg High School. For over 25 years, she was employed by Bloomsburg University in the Food Service Department. Dawn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Grovania. She enjoyed spending her time baking, gardening, playing and watching sports, and traveling.
In addition to her parents, Dawn was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Y. Harper, and a brother, Charles Morgan.
Survivors include her two beloved children; a daughter, Diane G. Evans of Berwick, a son, Mark E. Hornberger and wife Jessica of Bensalem, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Grovania. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Hornberger family.
