David M. Eckroth, 69, of Bloomsburg passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026. David was born on January 9, 1957 to the late Maurice Mahlon Eckroth and the former Marie Acor.

After graduating from Bloomsburg High School in 1975, David entered the Air Force, where he faithfully served as Senior Airman. Following his service, David returned to his hometown and attended the Bloomsburg State Collage. He worked in various capacities at several pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. David was a member of Good Shepard United Methodist Church where he often spent his time volunteering. He also enjoyed playing board games, video games, and was an electronics enthusiast, as well as an immense Star Trek fan, with an extensive collection of memorabilia. What brought David the most joy however, was spending time with his nieces and nephews, who adored him.

David is survived by his mother, Marie Eckroth of Bloomsburg; his sisters: Cindy Eckroth of Bloomsburg, Bonnie Adams of Bloomsburg and Andria Houston of Mooresville, NC; as well as his beloved nieces and nephew: Autumn Trieu, Andrew Adams, Kylie Houston, and Kara Houston.

Services for David will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Bloomsburg, is honored to be serving David’s family.
