David R. Bailey, age 73, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020, at his South Centre Twp. residence, surrounded by his loving family. David was a resident of Bloomsburg for over 41 years.

He was born on Sunday, July 28, 1946 in Erie, a son of the late Lester R. and Mary K. (Walker) Bailey. On August 26, 1964, David married his loving wife, the former Mary M. Rogers, for 51 years before she preceded him in death on May 20, 2016. For over 25 years, he was employed by Foam Fabricators, Bloomsburg as a Plant Manager until his retirement in 2007. David loved spending his time with his family and friends, watching NASCAR, he enjoyed buying and selling cars and loved his pet dog Toby.

Survivors include his beloved family, two daughters,Tammy L. wife of Brian Poust of Bloomsburg, Christine K. Bailey Volz wife of Paul Volz of Mountain Top, a son, David R. Bailey Jr. and wife Tracy of Bloomsburg, five grandchildren, Allen Zehner and wife Tiffany, Sheri Zehner, Nichole wife of Mike Trovitch, James Turnbach, Brandon Bailey, six great grandchildren, Bailey Francis, Michael Trovitch, Jaylyn Trovitch, Chase Koncsler, Kyleigh Koncsler, Karsin Zehner.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Bailey family.
