Darla J. Lucas , age 75, of Bloomsburg, died on Monday, November 13, 2017, a resident of the Berwick Retirement Village in Berwick. Darla was a resident of her South Centre Township home her entire life.
Darla was born on Tuesday, February 10, 1942 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Ralph, Sr. and Maude (Lutz) Edwards. Darla graduated from the Central Columbia High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and completing crafts.
Darla was preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Lucas. Jr. in 1998 and two siblings, Marilouise Kile and Ralph Edwards, Jr.
Survivors include two children, Melissa A. Lucas and Christopher P. Lucas both of Bloomsburg, two grandchildren, Britny Houseknecht and Devon Lucas and wife, Rochelle, great granddaughter, River Lucas, and five siblings, Sherry Edwards of Bloomsburg, Ronald Edwards and wife, Louise, of Bloomsburg, Edwin Edwards and wife, Dawn, of Bloomsburg, Doris Whitenight of Philadelphia, and Zane Edwards and wife, Dorothy, of Danville.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Lucas family.
