Darl E. Venditti , age 97, of Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at her home. Darl was a resident of her home in Hemlock Township for nearly fifty years.

Darl was born on Tuesday, September 13, 1921 in Mt Pleasant Township, a daughter of the late Russel and M. Elizabeth (Hess) Edwards. Darl graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1939.

In July, 1955 , Darl married her loving husband, John Venditti who died December 12, 1994. She was an Executive Secretary much of her working life. She began her career as Assistant to the Chief Comptroller of the former ACF of Berwick and the at the former U.S. Radium. She was last employed as Manager, with her mother, of the former Rock's Steak House of Bloomsburg. Darl was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bloomsburg.

In addition to her husband and parents, Darl was also preceded by her brother, Dale H. Edwards and her step father, William B. Hassert.
Survivors include two nieces: Cynthia A. Edwards of Catawissa and Valerie J. Kirkland of Flat Rock, NC.

Private graveside services will be held in New Rosemont Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Venditti family.
