Darl Irene Bowman, age 84, of Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, March 24, 2018, a patient of the Geisinger Hospice at Maria Hall in Danville. Darl was a resident of Scott Township her entire life.
Darl was born on Friday, September 22, 1933 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late W. Theodore Cain and Della (Drum) Stine. Throughout her younger years, Darl attended area schools, and later graduated from the former Scott Twp. High School in 1951. For many years, Darl was self employed as a beautician until her retirement. She enjoyed spending her time attending her grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
In addition to her parents, Darl was also preceded by her husband, Carroll Bowman, on August 30, 2011 and three brothers: Martin D. Cain, Carl N. Cain, and George Cain.
Survivors include her three daughters: Carol A. Fenstermacher and husband, Tim, of Bloomsburg, Darlene K. Dewalt and husband, Jay, of Bloomsburg, and Amy J. Braverman and husband, Richard, of Lancaster: 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Hospice Chaplain, Chris Dunlap, officiating. Graveside committal services will be in Elan Memorial Park. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Bowman family.
