Daniel R. Hack, Sr., age 52, of 270 E. First St., Bloomsburg died Saturday, April 11 at the Bloomsburg Hospital. Dan had been failing health since December of 2008. Dan was born September 4, 1956 in Bloomsburg, the son of the late Donald and Mary (Neaus) Hack. He was a 1974 Graduate of the Bloomsburg High School. Dan was employed for 35 years in the Maintenance Department for the Bloomsburg School District. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son, farming, and working in his garden. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie (Allen) Hack whom he married November 17, 1975; a son: Daniel R. Hack, Jr. and his wife, Kelly, Berwick; a daughter: Melissa Hack, Bloomsburg; a granddaughter: Katelyn, and a brother: David Hack and his wife, Charlotte, Orangeville. Private Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 15 at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg with Pastor Thomas Fetterolf, retired United Methodist pastor, officiating. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery.
