Dana Evans, age 73, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Dana was a resident of his home in South Centre Twp. for over 24 years.

Dana was born on Tuesday, May 29, 1951, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Donald L. and Gladys R. (Woolcock) Evans. He graduated from the Chichester High School, Delaware County in 1969. On August 23,1993, Dana married his loving wife, the former Yvonne East who preceded him in death on October 4, 2023. For over 36 years, he was employed by Kawneer until his retirement in 2018. Dana was a member of the Blue Rock Drum Corps, Wilmington, DE. He enjoyed his time playing with the Drum and Bugle Corps, astronomy, lawn care, traveling, sight-seeing and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his two sons: Danny Evans of Surfside Beach, SC and Adam Evans of Williamsport, three stepchildren: Jennifer M. Reigle of Bloomsburg, Autumn Reigle-Whitmire and spouse Terry of Bloomsburg, Chris Reigle and wife Janelle of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren: Jasmine, Christopher, Kayla and Corey; two great-grandsons: Brentley and Dominick; and a brother, Donald W. Evans and his wife Shelley of Orangeville.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg. Funeral Services will begin on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Chaplain Robert Barner, Compassus Hospice, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Evans family.
