Dale W. Hauntzelman, age 75, of North Centre Twp. and a longtime resident of Catawissa, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

He was born on Tuesday, June 19, 1945 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Wilson and Edna (Lynn) Hauntzelman. Dale graduated from the Southern Columbia High School in 1964 and the former Williamsport Technical Institute. Dale faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1973. He was employed by PPL as a mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and eating at Kemler's Restaurant, Bloomsburg.

In addition to his parents, Dale was also preceded in death by two sisters, Anna and Dawn.

Survivors include his beloved companion for the past twelve years, Lois Dunn of Bloomsburg.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Gregory Moore, officiating. Military honors will be provided by the combined American Legion and V.F.W. Honor Guard.

Private graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Mt. Zion/Roaring Creek Valley Cemetery, Catawissa. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Hauntzelman family.
