Dale M. Dietterick, age 75, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, a resident of the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township. He was a resident of his home in Orange Township for over 50 years.

Dale was born on Tuesday, October 17, 1950 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Marlin and Lois (Bacon) Diettrick. He graduated from the Central Columbia High School, 1968. On June 8, 1996, Dale married his loving wife, the former Sharonann Louise Reed. For over 21 years, he was employed by former Heinz, now known as Post, until his retirement in 2015. Previously Dale had worked at the Berwick ribbon factory for 20 years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, he wrestled in school and was known for enjoying nice cigars.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 29 years, Sharonann Louise Dietterick of Bloomsburg, two children: Diane Emmons and husband Will of Humble, TX, Michael Dietterick of Mesa, AZ; two step children: Shawn Reed of Bloomsburg and Danielle Murphy and husband Arnold of TX; four grandchildren: Carley Emmons, Sydney Emmons, Skylar Murphy and husband Austin, and Dallas Murphy all of TX, brother, Earl Dietterick and wife Glovne of Bloomsburg; a niece, Lisa Houseknecht and husband Pat, a great-nephew, Hugh Houseknecht, and a great-niece, Holly Houseknecht all of Bloomsburg.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Graveside committal services will be provided at a later date. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Dietterick family.
