Corvin S. Seltzer, Sr., age 79, of Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, October 27, 2018, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center.

Corvin was born on Tuesday, April 18, 1939 in Nescopeck, a son of the late Ralph and Clorea (Fritz) Seltzer. Throughout his younger years, Corvin attended the Scott Township area schools, and later graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1957. He expanded his education by attending Bloomsburg University.

On September 5, 1959, Corvin married his loving wife, Eleanor J.Belles formerly of Berwick. He was employed by several area businesses including Prudential Insurance, Kawneer, Health Direct. Corvin attended the Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia.

In addition to his parents, Corvin was also preceded by Siblings: Clyde F. Seltzer, M. Catherine Seltzer, Meda E. Garrison, Reca D. Shultz, Allen W. Seltzer, Margery L. Youlls, and Curtis B. Seltzer.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Eleanor J.Seltzer; Children: Linda Lee Maher, and husband, Thomas, of Merritt Island, FL; Karen K. Seltzer of Wilkes Barre, Corvin S. Seltzer, Jr. and wife, Lori, of Revere, PA, Beth A. Persun and husband, Robert, of Berwick, Bradley A. Seltzer of Ojai, CA, and Faith M. Monroe and husband, Jacob, of Camden, MI; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was the last member of his immediate family.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc.. 745 Market at Eight St., Bloomsburg. Friends and family will also be received on Tuesday, October 30, from 12 pm to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm with his pastor, Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Mifflinville Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Seltzer family.
