Corey M. Houser, age 46, of Drums, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was born and raised in Bloomsburg and enjoyed the last 15 years living in Florida.

Corey was born on Tuesday, December 13, 1977 in Bloomsburg, a son of Morris R. and Deborah Jean (Kile) Houser. He graduated from the Bloomsburg Area School District in 1996 after being home schooled. On April 13, 2021, Corey married his loving husband, Ryan Rattigan. Corey loved to read, spend time with his loved ones, and listen to music. He enjoyed hiking in nature, particularly at Sullivan Falls. Getting up early to catch sunrises with his husband, Ryan, was one of his favorite activities while residing in Florida. He was able to make everyone feel comfortable around him because he had such an inviting energy. Corey was a natural born caregiver and always put the happiness of others before his own.

Survivors include his beloved husband, Ryan Rattigan of Drums with whom he spent 18 years together; his father, Morris R. Houser and wife Cindy of Bloomsburg, mother, Deborah Jean and husband Bret Shaffer of Bloomsburg; his brother, Brian C. Houser, wife Michelle and their daughter, Eleanor of Bloomsburg, sister, Kasey Hashagen and husband Jestin of Berwick, also other extended family members and his best friend, Michelle "Mitch" Houser.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Houser and Rattigan families.
