Corey Lee Harner, age 42, of Bloomsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Corey was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 15 years.

He was born on Friday, January 15, 1982 in Jacksonville, NC, a son of Randy and Deanna (Snyder) Harner. He graduated from the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech in 2000. On June 2, 2010, Corey married his loving wife the former Jerissa Park. For several years, he worked as a road foreman and was recently employed by Unger Lawn Care & Webstaurant, Bloomsburg. He was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. He was also a social member of the American Legion, Catawissa Post 541. Corey was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed cooking and was a very experienced handy man. He was an amazing family man and would do anything for anybody. He loved watching sports and taking his kids to their sporting events.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 14 years, Jerissa Harner of Bloomsburg; his parents: Randy of Sunbury, and Deanna of Bloomsburg; his three children: Sierra, Karlee and Bryce Harner all of Bloomsburg; two brothers: Curtis and Randy Harner all of Bloomsburg, who looked up to him as a father figure.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Harner family.
