Cooper Jaxson Karaffa, the nine month old son of Stephen and Jennifer Kingston Karaffa of Fourth Street in Bloomsburg, died suddenly on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Cooper was born on Friday, March 26, 2010 in Geisinger Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters, Kaitlin and Sierra and a brother, Landon; Paternal Grandmother: Jeanne (Boone) Abati and her husband, Michael, of Drums: and Maternal Grandmother: Kristine (Billig) Kingston of Bloomsburg.
He was preceded in death by a Paternal Grandfather, William Karaffa on January 3, 2011 and a Maternal Grandfather, Frederick Cooper in 1979.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 10 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg, with Rev. Jay E. Jones, of Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends will be received prior to services. Graveside services will be held in Mifflinville Cemetery.
