Obituary

Clayton L. Hunsinger, age 76, of Orangeville, died on Thursday afternoon, July 4, 2013 at his home. For over 20 years, Clayton was a resident of Casselberry, Florida before moving to Bloomsburg where he resided for eight years until moving to Orangeville.
Clayton was born on Wednesday, November 18, 1936, in Berwick, a son of the late Millard and Mary (Lutz) Hunsinger. Clayton graduated from the Berwick High School in 1955. Following his high school education, Clayton enlisted with the United States Air Force where he served his country faithfully, and was honorably discharged on February 19, 1959. Clayton was currently employed by Lone Derr as a professional driver, and also transported students for SUNCOM since the year 2000. While as a resident of Florida, he was employed by ABC Wine & Spirits for 20 years as a Maintenance Technician. He was a member of the Catawissa American Legion Post #541.
On October 8, 2003, Clayton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, the late Gayle (Dickey) Hunsinger. Also preceding him was a son: Rick L. Hunsinger in 1997 and also a sister: Naomi Mensinger in 2009.
Survivors include three daughters: Cindy Hunsinger of Casselberry, FL; Cathy Skjoldal and husband, Jeff, of Catawissa; and Carol Derr and husband, Andrew, of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren, eighth great-grandchildren and two siblings: Bernard Hunsinger and wife, Jane, of Florida; and Harold Hunsinger and wife, Anna, of Catawissa.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the Elan Memorial Park Cemetery in Lime Ridge with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, officiating. The Hunsinger family is being assisted by the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
