Clark C. Parker, age 87, of Danville, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at his home of 30 years.
He was born on Wednesday, January 29, 1936 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Clark M. Parker and Jennie R. (Oman) Pelter. Clark attended the Bloomsburg High School. On December 15, 1977, Clark married his loving wife, the former Dolores C. Boone who preceded him in death on December 2, 2019. Clark was employed by the Bloomsburg Hospital in the Maintenance Department until his retirement in 2003. Clark was a member of the Bloomsburg Christian Church, where he regularly attended services. He enjoyed spending his time mowing grass, gardening, dining out at local restaurants and talking with his friends on the phone. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Clark was also preceded in death by six siblings; Dorothy Atherton, Norman Parker, Jay Parker, John "Art" Parker, Harold Parker, and Clara Hosler.
Survivors include his two beloved daughters; Dolores A. "Dee" Cashner and husband Gregory of Danville, Kelley D. Lowe and husband Brian of Bloomsburg, six grandchildren; Lindsey R. Nuss, Johannah E. Sherwood and husband Christian, Rachel A. Izaguirre and husband Elvin, Bryce M. Stigerwalt, Garrett C. Stigerwalt, Jacob C. Lowe, four great-grandchildren; Bailey R. Nuss, Kennedy L. Nuss, Connor D. Nuss, Emery W. Izaguirre, and a sister-in-law; Mary Janet Parker.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Eric Miller Lead Minister, Bloomsburg Christian Church, officiating. Graveside committal services for both Clark and his wife Dolores will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Parker family.
