Clara E. (Beitz) Cain, age 71, of Millville, died suddenly at her home on March 9, 2014 in Orange Township.
Clara was born on Wednesday, November 11, 1942 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Walter O. and Gladys Eva (Wilson) Beitz. Throughout her younger years, Clara attended the Millville area schools. Clara spent many years working throughout Columbia County for multiple companies such as Milco Industries and the VanHouten family farms. On May 10, 1978, Clara married her loving husband, Richard E. Cain. When not working outside of the home, Clara dedicated her life to caring for her children and family. She loved spending her time working on different crafts, working in her garden, growing beautiful flowers and also her favorite pets. Most of all, Clara loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her life.
On November 4, 2007, Clara was preceded by her beloved husband of 29 years, Richard E. Cain. She was also preceded by twin daughters: Eva and Jane in 1962; a step-son: Douglas Cain in 1984; and a brother: Jesse Walter.
Survivors include three daughters: Deborah Daily and husband, John Whitehurst, of Madison, AL; Teri Brown and companion, Allen Krum, Jr., of Danville; Jennifer Daily and husband, Cici Mayo, of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons: Jeff Daily and wife, Faith, of Millville; and Greg Daily and wife, Christina, also of Millville; three step-sons: Randy Cain and wife, Linda, of Benton; Richard Cain of Bloomsburg; and Todd Cain of Millville; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and also by a brother: Walter David Beitz, of Virginia Beach, VA.
