Obituary
Christopher E. Dyer, age 75, of Danville, died on Saturday, May 22, 2021, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Christopher was a former resident of Catawissa.
Christopher was born on Tuesday, December 25, 1945 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Troy E. and Alice V. (Hoffman) Dyer. Throughout his younger years, he attended the Catawissa area schools, and later graduated from the Southern Columbia High School in 1964. Following high school, he faithfully served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Christopher married the former Rita J. Oglesby who died in 2013. For many years, Christopher was employed by Decorator Industries as a truck driver until his retirement in 1997.
Survivors include his children: Penelope J. Dyer of Mainville, Andrew C. Dyer and wife, Crystal, of Bloomsburg and Pamela J. Dyer of Mt. Carmel, two granddaughters: Trisha J. "TJ" Fasnacht and Aliyah J. Dyer, and a sister: Christine Marie Conner of Danville, PA.
Military Honors will be held in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Dyer family
