Obituary

Christine A. Kope, 60, of Bloomsburg, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Titusville, PA on September 18, 1965, she was a daughter to the late William G. and Beatrice I. (Brown) Andrusky.

Christine was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1983 and continued her education at Erie Business School and Job Corps. For more than 20 years, she was employed by Talen Energy (Formerly PPL) in Berwick. She was a member of the Susquehanna Towers Club and the American Ukrainian Citizens Club in Berwick. Christine enjoyed shopping, especially antiquing and thrifting. She also enjoyed tea parties, RV’ing, and taking in live entertainment, whether plays, shows, or concerts, as well as traveling, especially to visit family in Florida. Christine cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving Christine are her beloved children: Michelle Kope and husband, Zachary Beaver, of Berwick, Ashley Kope of Danville, and Nathan Kope of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Addison and Piper Beaver; and siblings: Lannie Gray, Rhonda Gray, Cathy Opelt, David Gray, Amy Gray, Lori Oulabi, Jody Andrusky, and Jamie Andrusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by siblings: Robert Gray and Sheri Aldrich.

All are welcome to join Christine’s family for her Memorial Service 6 PM Thursday July 2, 2026 at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Pastor Scott Winter will officiate. Friends will be received from 4 PM until the time of the service at 6 PM. Memorial contributions in Christine’s name may be made to Animal Resource Center, PO Box 439, Bloomsburg, PA 17815. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., of Bloomsburg, is honored to serve the Kope family.
