Christie J. (Henrie) Shuman, age 68, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her home after a long health illness.

Christie was born on Thursday, September 6, 1956 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Daniel Ode and Jean (Creasy) Henrie. She graduated from the Berwick High School in 1974. For over 24 years, she was employed by Bloomsburg University as a Secretary for Philosophy and Political Science until her retirement in 1999. Christie enjoyed her family and especially shopping with her sister and cherished spending time with her sons and grandsons.

Survivors include her two beloved sons; Jared Shuman of Zion Grove and Jonathan Shuman of Stillwater; two grandchildren; Oden Shuman and Liam Shuman both of Zion Grove; and a sister; Karen Henrie of Orangeville.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of her family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Shuman family.
