Chris L. Parker, age 67, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Chris was a resident of his home in Scott Twp. for over 50 years.
He was born on Saturday, September 8, 1951 in Berwick, a son of the late Ted LaRue and Diora G. (Fenstermacher) Parker. On June 26, 1969, Chris married his loving wife, the former Kay E. Lupini, who preceded him in death on December 8, 2017. For over 40 years, Chris was employed by Kawneer, Bloomsburg until his retirement. He was a life member of the Espy Fire Company. Chris loved spending time fishing, camping and hunting with his late son Randy. He loved spending time with family, especially his two granddaughters.
In addition to his wife and parents, Chris was also preceded by his son, Randy J. Parker on May 8, 2012.
Survivors include his daughter, Nikki L. wife of Wayne Poe of Bloomsburg, two granddaughters; Lauren C. Poe and Kayla E. Poe, a sister, Linda A. Parker Bafile wife of Bernard Bafile, and a brother, Carl B. Parker and wife Lynn all of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
