Obituary
Cheryl A. Bookmiller, age 65, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville.
She was born on Saturday, June 14, 1958 in Danville, a daughter of Shirley (Kline) Shearer of Danville and the late Edward Shearer. Cheryl graduated from the Danville High School. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved cooking for her family. Crafting was her biggest hobby, she sewed and knitted Barbie clothes, and loved completing Diamond Paintings.
Her cat Mitzi was her best friend who gave her great comfort and kept her company for many years. Cheryl worked for over 15 years at Geisinger Medical Center as a Medical Billing and Data Entry Specialist, she worked hard and took pride in all the things she did. We are grateful for the years we had to spend with Cheryl, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her mother; Shirley Shearer of Danville, a son; Jon E. Bookmiller and wife his Jayme of Blanchard, PA, three sisters; Jacquelyn Ervin and her husband Jim of Elysburg, Brenda Artley and her husband Terry of Danville, and Judy Keen and her husband Jim of Delaware.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Bookmiller family.
