Cherie A. Collins, age 72, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday evening, March 20, 2021, surrounded by her family at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital.
Cherie was born on Thursday, January 27, 1949 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Tennis G. and Erma (Knorr) Seiple. Throughout her younger years, Cherie attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1967. After marrying her husband, Michael J. Collins, Sr., Cherie devote her life to her family and home while raising their two sons.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Michael J.Collins, Sr. of Bloomsburg; her son, Michael J. Collins II and fiance, Yvonne Wolfe, of Bloomsburg; her son, Shawn P. Collins and wife, Mirinda, of Elk Grove, California; her granddaughter, Ava J. Collins and her grandson, Aidan P. Collins both of Elk Grove, California.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., of Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Collins family.
