Cheerful "Happy" Vogel, age 86, of Bloomsburg, passed away on February 2, 2025, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 10 years.

Happy was born on Friday, September 2, 1938, in Uniontown, PA, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Yurick) Gribas. She graduated from the Uniontown Area High School. In 1966, Happy married her loving husband, John Vogel who preceded her in death on July 20, 1989. For over 20 years, Happy was employed by Wonder Hostess as a clerk until her retirement on January 1, 2000. Happy was a member of the Community Alliance Church and St. Columba Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending her time cooking, gardening, exercising, entertaining, traveling and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Happy was also preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Howell, and a son in law, Steve Schreiber.

Survivors include her four beloved children: Charles Culleton of Eastport, NY, Mark Culleton of Bloomsburg, Debra Zimmermann and husband William of Vero Beach, FL, Lisa Schreiber and her fiancé, Andy Zeigler of Kulpmont; four grandchildren: Wesley Hubschmitt and wife Monica of Long Island City, NY, Jamie Schreiber of Daytona Beach, FL, Paige Hauck and husband Zachary of Bloomsburg, Jesse Schreiber of Daytona Beach, FL, one great-granddaughter, Amber Howell, and a sister, Sophia Swann and husband John of Springboro, OH. Also, by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Jay Olivo, Community Alliance Church, officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Vogel family.
