Charlotte M. Stryker, age 71, of Catawissa, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a resident of her home in Catawissa Township for over 25 years.
Charlotte was born on Wednesday, January 13, 1954 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late William W. and Margaret M. (Taylor) Saweikis. She graduated from the Columbia Montour Vo Tech. On February 26, 1974, Charlotte married her loving husband, Richard R. Stryker. For many years, Charlotte was employed by Bloomsburg Hospital as a Unit Desk Clerk until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, where she served as Sunday School teacher for over 48 years. Charlotte was an area representative for the Voice of the Martyrs. She loved flowers, her cats and to read, especially God's Word.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was also preceded in death by her sister in law, Edie Saweikis.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, Richard R. Stryker of Catawissa; three siblings: Mary Fisher and husband Nick of Catawissa, Theresa Philips and husband Harold of Benton and William Saweikis of Catawissa.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 706 Central Road, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God with Rev. John Kolenda, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Stryker family.
