Charles H. Snyder, age 90, Millville and formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at The Gardens in Millville.

He was born on Friday, June 2, 1933 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Albert and Alma (Rarig) Snyder. He graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1951. On November 8, 1952, Charles married his loving wife, the former Ruth D. Pursel who preceded him in death on November 10, 2018. For many years, Charles was employed by Clair C. Hock, Inc. as a truck driver until his retirement in 1995. Charles was a member of the Buckhorn United Methodist Church and the Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was also preceded in death by three siblings; Earl Snyder, Donald Snyder and Lorene Fisher.

Survivors include his three beloved children; Dennis C. Snyder and wife Melissa of Millville, Sharon R. Kehoe and husband William of Millville, Scott E. Snyder and wife Andrina of Catawissa, seven grandchildren; Heather Vance and husband John of Orangeville, Dana Banta and husband Curtis of Oak Harbor, WA, Hope Snyder-Moore and husband Donnie of Millville, Bruce Snyder and wife Alyssa of Catawissa, Gregory Kehoe and wife Skylar of Berwick, Jason Kehoe and wife Brooke of Bloomsburg, Courtney Snyder-Kehoe and husband Kevin of Ridgeville, SC, 17 great-grandchildren and a sister, Janice Kitchen of Danville.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Buckhorn United Methodist Church, 94 Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Buckhorn United Methodist Church with Rev. Audrey M. Brosious, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Snyder family.
