Charles James Klatt, age 73, of Catawissa, died on Sunday, October 16, 2022, a patient of Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Charles was a resident of his home in Catawissa for over 40 years.
He was born on Friday, April 1, 1949 in Rocky Hill, CT a son of the late James and Florence P (Kukoski) Klatt. Throughout his younger years, Charles attended schools in Rocky Hill, CT. On July 10, 1995, Charles married his loving wife, the former Linda Yohey.
For over 42 years, Charles was employed by Columbia Industries as an engineer until his death. He was a member of the Washington Lodge #265 F. & A. M., Bloomsburg. He enjoyed spending his time car racing, winning a lot of them, tinkering with anything mechanical and especially being on his boat in Lake Erie. He especially loved when his great granddaughter Willow would run into his arms to give her an "uppie".
Survivors include his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda Klatt of Catawissa, a stepson, Ronald Edwards, Jr. of Catawissa, two granddaughter, Kayla Edwards and Danielle Edwards of Bloomsburg, a step great granddaughter, Willow Edwards of Bloomsburg, a brother, Jim and wife Penny Klatt of Big Spring, TX, and a sister, Ann Brisson of CT.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg. is honored to be serving the Klatt family.
