Obituary
Charles E. Anthony, Jr. age 89, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, a patient of the The Gardens at Orangeville.
He was born on Friday, September 15, 1933 in Nanticoke, a son of the late Charles E. and Emma (Hermansen) Anthony. Charles graduated from the Myers High School in1951. He faithfully served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1956. Charles was employed by Rexell Drug Company and The Medicine Shoppe. Charles enjoyed gardening and painting.
In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy K. Anthony, two sons, Jack Charles Anthony and Charlie John Anthony.
Survivors include a grandson, Sean Charles Anthony and wife Mary of Bloomsburg, his loving companion, Florence P. Rawls of Bloomsburg, and two great-granddaughters.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg, is honored to be serving the Anthony family.
