Carroll E. Creveling, age 82, of Bloomsburg, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the Signature Health Care of Bloomsburg were he resided one year.
Carroll was born on Tuesday, April 16, 1935 in Bloomsburg, PA, a son of the late James and Sara (Wenner) Creveling. Throughout his younger years, Carroll attended the North Center Township area schools, and later graduated from the former Scott High School in 1953. For most of his working life, Carroll was a self employed Dairy Farmer. Carroll enjoyed spending his time watching NASCAR races, hunting, and listening to Country Music. Carroll was a proud Bloomsburg Fair share holder and was greatly interested in the Fair.
On June 7, 1982 Carroll was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy (Thomas) Creveling. In addition to his wife and parents, Carroll was also preceded by a brother, James W. Creveling.
Survivors include four children: Todd R. (Susan) Creveling of Parkesburg, PA; Thomas L. (Alisa) Creveling of Bloomsburg; Tony R. Creveling of Bloomsburg, and Terri A. (Matthew) Cragle of Berwick; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will continue at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Ryan Reigh, Chaplain of Signature Health Care, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow at the St. James Cemetery, Stillwater. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Creveling family.
